WHO SELLS AT TRADERS VILLAGE?

People starting a new business. People having a garage sale. People looking for another outlet for an existing business. People with hobbies they want to turn into income. Existing flea market dealers. Businesses wanting to move closeout merchandise without having to tie-up costly retail space. In other words, anyone with an idea, a product or creation who wants exposure to a large number of potential customers without high overhead and related expenses of most retail spaces.

HOW CAN I GET A SPACE?

To get a reserved space, call the office starting Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. Your payment for the weekend is due by Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. and can be renewed on Sunday before 6:00 p.m.

WHAT TYPE OF SPACES ARE AVAILABLE?

You can rent spaces by the day, weekend or the month.

UNCOVERED SPACE: (Open space)

You CAN park vehicle on this space

KIOSK:

$23.00 per day
$47.00 per weekend
10' wide X 12' deep

COVERED EXPO SPACES:

Starts at $28.00 per day

LOCKED SPACE:

Starts at $233.00 per month
$263.00 per month for the corner
There is a waiting list for these spaces and we are presently filled. Call or see office personnel if you wish to be added to the waiting list.

RESERVATIONS

WEEKLY RENTAL PROCEDURES
We begin making reservations, for the full weekend, on Monday at 8:30 a.m. (telephone only 972-647-2331) until 11: a.m. Thursday for the upcoming weekend. Counter reservations are taken after noon on Monday. Payment must be made by Thursday at 11:00 a.m. We accept payments by cash, check or credit card.

To re-reserve your space(s) for the following weekend, take your receipt and identification to Guest Relations on Saturday or Sunday from 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

FRIDAY RENTAL PROCEDURES
Dealers may enter Traders Village property at 4:00 a.m. A day sales space can be rented starting at 5:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Guest Relations.

To hold your space(s) for Sunday, take your receipt and identification to Guest Relations on Saturday between 7:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

DO YOU RENT TABLES?

Yes, $5 per table, per day. They are 8' long by 30" wide.

WHAT ARE THE MARKET OPERATING HOURS?

Traders Village is open every Saturday and Sunday 8:00 a.m. - Dusk

WHAT CAN I SELL?

Dealers can sell anything that does not violate county, state or federal laws or is not on the Traders Village Restricted list.

Restrictions are as follows*:
  1. Food concessions (Traders Village operates food concessions).
  2. Any merchandise, as defined by Traders Village, that is not characteristic of a wholesome family environment.
  3. No distribution of religious or political materials.
  4. Traders Village prohibits the sale, display or distribution of merchandise bearing counterfeit trademarks or that infringe on copyrighted designs or materials.
  5. Sale of fireworks is prohibited. No fireworks may be sold or stored at Traders Village according to the Texas Department of Insurance - State Fire Marshall's Office. This includes "Pop Pops", "Snaps", or any other explosive devices. Anyone in violation of this rule may be subject to arrest or seizure of merchandise.
  6. The sale of firearms and ammunition is strictly prohibited.
  7. The sale of any pornography is strictly prohibited.

HOW DO I GET TO TRADERS VILLAGE?

We are between Interstate 30 and Interstate 20 just off Highway 360 in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.

  • From I-20 go north on Highway 360 to Mayfield Road take right and go east Traders Village is on your left. From I-20 go north on Great Southwest Parkway to Mayfield Road take a left going west and Traders Village will be on your right.
  • From I-30 go south on Highway 360 to Mayfield Road go left under underpass on Mayfield Road, Traders Village will be on your left.

The market averages about 3,500 dealers. The fall & spring months are the most active time in the market due to weather conditions being more favorable.
